It is a little scary to put ourselves out and let ourselves be known. But it is also very generous and clarifying--I’ve never understood myself better than I do now that I write here. It’s like every essay walks me home...it’s the readers who help me see better who I am. We’re here for you!
-- Oh, I completely comprehend your perspective here. Every single time I write, I feel closer and closer to my inner self, to my inner soul, to my inner sentience. As I recently wrote, for me words are portals to transparent depth, observable evidence, uncoated truthfulness. They are powerful artifacts capable of transforming the space, capable of transcending the vision of time. And please, know that I am touched and humbled by your presence here 🧡! It means more than I can possibly tell.
“try to leave a softening trail of love, courage and inspiration; try to cultivate a force capable of nourishing the heartening source of this one crystalline light I cherish, densely deep”
You absolutely leave a softening trial of love all over the place. Its abundantly clear through all of your interactions here.
-- Thank you, Caroline! Your words made my heart smile, deeply : ) You know I am such a fan of your wonderful writing, and having you here (immediately after I posted) means everything 🧡!
-- Thank you, Troy. I am grateful for your presence here. As I wrote, I fiercely believe in the “fight” -- an unique kind of goodness that’s capable of enlightening our souls over the course of a very long time, over the course of a very minute endeavor, over the course of a very empathetic life. In my view, that’s the sober way to create inner balance. That’s also, the only possible way to find outward brilliance. Xo.
The sentiment you are expressing here is incredibly beautiful ✨ the feeling that what you write is given over to the unforgiving “circle of time” is something so universally resonant for creators of art. But you’ve just gotta forge ahead, as you so rightly decree!
And your style, it’s so elegant and weaving ~ like watching someone make something physical, a lovely tea pot or a crochet blanket. 💛
-- “And your style, it’s so elegant and weaving ~ like watching someone make something physical, a lovely tea pot or a crochet blanket. 💛.” THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST COMPLIMENTS I HAVE EVER RECEIVED! I love the complexities of crochet – the visionary ability to patiently build an accurate perception of forms, step by step. Oh Isabelle, your comment touched my soul, deeply. I feel humbled by the way in which you have embraced the tender sensations my words have ignited in you. I have been experiencing all the soft-textured layers of “the endeavor”, all the precise threads of “the dream” – here and privately. As I recently wrote, I always try to perceive my dreams as a deep blue ocean circumnavigating a solid ground where I want to build a home for my heart. There is strength in seeing the waters as a defiant challenge, and yet at the same time, there is power in seeing the exact same thing as a possible solution. The clear perspective is what changes everything! Your presence here really matters. Thank you. Xo.
At first I was having a hard time settling into your writing style. I noticed that I was having some impatience with the paragraph length while knowing it wasn't YOU, but ME who was struggling.
As I let it flow and committed to reading every single word, and re-reading a few sentences to really take it ALL in, I settled into a different flow and noticed that just because I'm used to a certain type of writing doesn't mean I can't LOVE all of them.
Thank you for inspiring me to take the time to really take in your entire being through your words. They were loverly! :-).
-- Oh Elisabeth, I am so happy for your comment! I really appreciate your positive criticism. Your words mean the most to me, especially on account of the fact that you have taken the time to actually try to understand the density of my writing style, and also, the structural concept behind my line of thought. Thank you for sharing your feelings here – they absolutely matter. And, please receive my plain gratitude for THE RECOMMENDATION! It represents the same as receiving a huge hug from the Universe : )
Thank you for sharing Clarice's wonderful piece with us. The more we connect around the hidden secrets the stronger I feel💕
The line you wrote Thaissa, 'on the parameter of my doubts and the precision of my wins' made me take a breath in and forget to exhale! There is some serious unpacking to do just in this sentence, as well as the whole magnificent read. Thank you for that.
Being called a purposeful dreamer seems to me (a person who leans to too much purposeful and not enough dreamer) to be something many of us strive to be. It's leaning into the wind in the direction you want to go, rather than being blown to hither and yon on the whims of nothing much.
Finally, the thing that gave me the most pause was being called to question when is the moment we are called to accountability, that pivotal snapshot in time? Do we attack it as it happens, do we let it pass us by or do we hold it lightly and examine it with our heart and step forward with intention, just like a purposeful dreamer would do?
-- Oh my God! These words have brought emotional tears to my eyes, truly. I could even write another essay based on all of them. I am so jubilant that you could resonate with my post, with my experience, with my being. I don’t have all these answers, but I will share with you the same transformational phrase I once heard someone I love exclaims – “keep fighting the good fight.” In doing so, I promise you will undoubtedly reach the most beautiful destination – good peace, good strength, good life. Thank you for being here with me 🧡.
I am so glad I found this page. (Actually you found me first!) I can tell we are kindred spirits and I look forward to diving deeper into your posts. <3
-- I do love to write poetical reflections, and I am always grateful to hear that my purposeful words could touch hearts in a meaningful way. Thank you for your support, Rosana. Xo.
Sharing sunlight is needed now more than ever. Thank you for sharing your light! (Happy Very Belated Birthday!) I'm petrified every time I sit down to write. Your work is lovely and appreciated. I'm glad you're here! Thank you for your support, as well. May God bless you with His light!
It is my belief that there is always a place of common ground and mutual understanding where no matter what, Good & Light can undoubtedly meet again inside us in order to create bountifulness, brilliance, balance. Thank you so much for your comment and support, Shauna. May God bless you too. Xo.
-- Stephen Sondheim once said that “art, in itself, is an attempt to bring order out of chaos.” Maybe, “the true shift” happens when we choose to pay attention to how often the unguided possibility, can almost always be redefined as a single and plausible perception of attitude. Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts here. Xo.
-- Oh, I am so grateful for your words. Thank you for deciding to give my endeavor a chance, in the first place. Above all, what I deeply want for this space is to build an honest, human and humble “love letter” – perhaps to my inner self, perhaps to that crystalline light, perhaps to every single soul who finds itself touching the ground of this “dreamer corner” I am trying to create. Having I said that, yes, there is much more to come. Hopefully 🧡.
ohh i do so adore this and not even in the language you were raised with ...you prove (like dr.? ha) the "fight" is as much about precise effort as much as anything and yours is a passionate seeking, opening up to all possibility and its clear with each interaction you need never fear being "judged" as anything but the person who cherishes it all happy spring beautiful
-- Oh, Appleton! Thank you for your words. Thank you for your presence. Above all, thank you for precisely comprehending the “fight”. It all makes me feel emotionally heard, especially seen, effectively valued. And, happy Autumn to you! I hope it will be a beautiful one : )
-- Oh my God! I hate my own typos so much! I am such a perfectionist when it comes to writing, and, when it comes to “almost” everything else too, haha! THANK YOU! I will fix it RIGHT NOW.
-- It’s such an honor to have you here, dear Val. I will never forget the first time I commented on your Substack. You were so generous, so gentle towards me. You have been inspiring me ever since. Xo.

You published just as I was sitting down to a Friday ice cream treat!
-- Oh my God! That’s what I would call “precision”! P.s. I hope Delilah is with you, haha.
I agree with this!!!
-- Thank you, my dear Isabel. I hope you know how much meaning these words have to me. Xo.
Oh, wow, this resonates so deeply with me. Thank you for expressing so much of what we all struggle with. I loved this in particular:
“Fight.”, I told her fiercely. Just because something hasn’t ever happened before, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t or couldn’t happen now. "
