Thaissa, this is an amazing piece! I appreciate the tremendous effort this must have taken. I love all the quoted works you shared with us, each one fitting perfectly with the whole.

I love that you have wholeheartedly released 'perhaps', to allow yourself to BE fully in your light. I have seen these words echoed in many places as we start the year (including my own heart) and it lifts me up and offers hope.

I love the pictures you shared, brief glimpses into the things you find beautiful. I hope you share more of them in the future. xox

-- Oh, Donna! Thank you so much for your precious words. This piece was born about a month ago and shaped itself. Yes, it took great effort, but I loved every single minute of it. Every sentence brought me closer to myself and my core.

It’s a multifaceted essay; there is so much more to it than what appears on the surface. In my view, silence is a profound canvas echoing unspoken stories. It’s a language of its own, resonating with the depth of contemplation, offering solace and understanding where words may falter.

I’m glad you liked the photos because your comment on IG inspired me even more to share the second one. I appreciate you, as a writer and as a being 🤍. Xo.

Your words on silence echo my sentiments, I crave it and am off balance if I go too many days without. It’s where the magic lives.

Yes, I plan to revisit this essay to plumb the depths as there is so much there. One could take each sentence into contemplation as a stand alone meditation❤️

Thaissa! How wonderful to see an essay from you! We were traveling when it came in and I realized how deep it would be so saved it for tonight, with a quiet house. And WOW. What a gift to journey through your mind. I felt I was in a slip stream through the Milky Way, full speed ahead. Thank you.

-- Isabel ✨️! Your heartfelt recognition is deeply cherished. Hearing these words from a trusted end adds even more meaning to my writing. Thank you for letting me know about your attentiveness. Choosing a tranquil setting to absorb my words resonates with my appreciation for such moments.

In my vision, it’s within the silence that the subtle nuances of our inner world come to life, serving as an enabler for the unspoken to take form — fostering peace and understanding in the absence. Seeing and saying — fully.

I genuinely value your perception of the depth in my writing, and it warms my heart that you already recognize a tone in my words. Crafting a unique voice is the essence of being a writer, and your acknowledgment profoundly resonates with me. Despite my intention to keep it 'simple,' my mind doesn’t always comply. But that’s who I am, and I accept my gift as it is, while investing time and effort in improving it.

I truly hope the journey through the 'Milky Way' was enjoyable and comprehensible. As the New Year unfolds, may joy envelop you, Belíssima, and the entire family. May it also bring more words and inspiration for both of us! I am grateful to have you in my life 🤍! Xo.

still waters run deep ohh lara i read this through like in dream trance and it just so happened some kali uschi as background music

"The figurative language doesn’t truly soften when viewed from the perspective of a patient, especially one grappling with chronic pain — a struggle I’m intimately acquainted with. It makes one more sensible, more resilient — undoubtedly. It cultivates a heightened sense of empathy and lucidity. It becomes clear-cut to perceive the good in all steps of the fight when one rides through that every single day themselves. The adventure of learning; the spice of being."

its hard to single out any of this as emblematic of any particular part of larger poetic seeking interested soul but you are a seducer and lover of words you conjure them and there is even in the spiritual almost a sense of with-holding in the physical expression of inner demands hmmmm perhaps too early to figure all that out but this is such a splendid way to greet a new year

and with such an effort of awareness of using words like watercolor paints exuberantly to xcelebrate the abstract yearningw we all feel cheese breads and "portuguese" ha

delightful 2024 to you of release discovery adventure xox

Thaíssa, I was so excited when this hit my inbox that I started reading it as Delilah was dragging me down the sidewalk -- coffee dripping on both of us.

I so love your thoughts on silence. I'm someone who has always needed silence throughout my day. It's so powerful and I've found it to be the most effective way to recharge. In my Kundalini classes, the teacher talks about how she spends hours in silence - not reading or listening to music - just sitting. That scares me a bit, but maybe because I know how joyous it must be.

Thank you for all the glorious quotes sprinkled throughout. But my favorite is the one about you: “You, Thaíssa, eagerly experience what you love, even if you stand alone in doing so. I admire your uniqueness.” What a stunning way to walk through this life. Thank you for setting this example. Happy New Year to you and yours. XO.

-- Oh, Carol, you warmed my heart inside. I can vividly imagine the whole scene involving Delilah, haha! I love you both. I hope that one day I can treat you to coffee in person, just for your kindness in writing such a special comment.

I faced some struggles with this one. It was finished last week, but then I decided to send it first to an English friend who works in the arts. I trusted her encouragement, and finally, I published it. I’ve been eager to delve deep into silence for a while now. It’s such a profound language, often speaking volumes and revealing emotions and thoughts that words may struggle to convey. I hope I portrayed it well.

Thank you, and I reiterate my wishes from yesterday 🤍! Xo.

So much beauty in every nook and cranny. Silence is a beg one, from the book the Thunder of Silence; Silence is pertained to as GOD.

Silence is ultimate peace, silence is where wakefulness to the truth arises.

I love pockets of silences ❤️

May your heart be at ease and at peace in each waking conscious second.

Silence—a canvas of unspoken nuances—speaks volumes in its subtlety. A sanctuary, shielding thoughts from external clamor; a vast expanse where vulnerability finds its voice. In the pauses between words, the profound essence of existence unfolds, reminding us that silence, too, is a form of expression.

It demands acknowledgment, inviting one to step into the light, transforming silence into a stage for courage and accountability. In the quietude, introspection takes root, nurturing the seeds of self-discovery. A space where the mind, freed from all the rest, engages in a dialogue with its own depths.

Your presence warms the virtual space we share, Paolo. Deep love. 🤍 Xo.
