It happens so often that the great writers on Substack share the same topics at the same time. It's as if our higher powers say, "this is what y'all need this week so pay attention!".

The higher power works in mysterious ways, don’t you think? It often seems that there’s a hidden hand guiding events and moments in our lives, revealing a greater purpose behind what we might initially perceive as mere coincidences.

I found myself luxuriously sinking into this post. Often I catch myself skimming because I am a very quick reader naturally but this one was a slow savoring of important words. I appreciate the recognition of the intimacy of timing and that it can be a call of our spirit or a signal to wait. It requires us to soften and allow.

This is one of my favorite posts of yours Thaissa (I know! I always say that because each is better than the other and they are all excellent). You called our attention to the differences in time/timing in a gentle, pointed manner and provided us with the most amazing images! Thank you.

I truly appreciate your insight into the intimacy of timing—it’s such a delicate thing, isn’t it? I’m so happy to know this post resonated with you, especially since you’ve been so generous in supporting each one. Knowing that I could bring even the slightest bit of joy into your life fills me with happiness. Most of all, thank you for sharing that with me. So much love goes unspoken when we don’t express how we truly feel. Thank you, Donna!

Also, thank you for becoming my second paid subscriber and for sending such a beautiful message along with it! It’s so much less about the money and so much more about the love behind it. It might take a few days for the payment to reach my account, but once it does, I already know what I’ll do—subscribe to the BRIGHTEST newsletter around. Do you think the amazing lady who runs it would accept a yearly subscription for the same $30 you paid me? 😉

My whole life I’ve been so so deeply concerned and fascinated and preoccupied with Time. Not once did I ever consider its more graceful counterpart, Timing. Until now. And I don’t know if I’ll be the same for it.

This is absolutely the truth. Alertness brings us the gems. I feel it slows the time down, too. I find the eternal in the movement. I love the new tone in your writing—it’s so clear. Beautiful.

learning to surrender to timing is my biggest lesson. i've always fought with patience, always had to count down minutes and days.

this a great meditation on learning the differnce between the two.

"discipline" and "surrender" 🤗

its easy to surrender to your expanding themes and this one takes the pressure off seeing time as a rapidly depleted resource encouraging us to seize the moments which elongate our mortal experience thanks Lara
