When we can make an intentional decision from the essence of us everything FEELS different. Even if the going gets bumpy we know we are headed in the right direction, as if we are being pulled gently there rather than pushing and hustling. I adore your use of the word sensibility here💕

Amazing images, as always!

Lastly Thaissa, can you share the secret of how you are able to use different fonts? Do you add them separately in an image? Your posts look amazing.

-- Donna, I have been reflecting so much on what it means to be sensible, to open my heart, to be present. I wonder if I can soften myself just by accepting that vulnerability might not be enough to prove a point. Thank you for all the encouragement. ✨️

P.S. I hope my screenshot was clear, but you know how to contact me if there are any doubts.

All I can think when I read this is—your life is a work of art.

Thaissa, thank YOU for the vulnerability you share with every piece of writing. You've done it again. Seeing the ways you are processing and disentangling this web of control and perfectionism deeply resonates with me and has been so healing with my own journey to do the same.

THIS - "Wisdom, I’m realizing, involves accepting that you can’t always control everything; that there exists a version of you that can sometimes be shadowed by overdeveloped parts in an effort to keep you safe. It’s like going back in time to comfort yourself when you felt alone and unseen." I have absolutely no words to explain how much I hold on to so much of what you write. As I work through my own understanding of how much control I actually have, this wisdom is something I really hope to carry along with me. I also love how you speak to it being a conscious and unconscious act (to bring healing and create a positive impact on others).

What's especially beautiful about your writing is the authenticity and rawness of it all. I can feel how genuine it is and how you are very much writing in an effort to process something to better yourself and to heal. Through that self-healing, it's creating this ripple effect and allowing others to do the same. Thank you for this and everything that you write and share. I'm eternally grateful that our paths crossed.

-- Misha, it took me a while to find the right words to respond to your comment. When I started sharing here, a friend told me that readers can help a writer find their guidance. Reading your perceptions, I think this is starting to make sense in my mind. I feel so humbled by the way you describe my writing and the impact it has been having on the most intrinsic part of your journey. From what I see, you are doing pretty great yourself. I can’t wait to read whatever you choose to share in your own bountiful corner. Thank you, thank you. ✨️

“I learned that everything makes more sense when you know an intentional decision is being made by you”

this is at the heart of so much for me. I’m realizing how so many of my pains stem from decisions that were not my own, and, in fact, I think the pain is not from the actual decision but rather from being denied a choice. I thank you for this introspection.

AND YOU WERE SO CUTE!! And you still are 🤍

the return from dreams: "You are familiar with that sense of calm and peace that emanates from within, from some hidden aspect of yourself? Experiencing that presence is incredibly clarifying." i can see how you might reference my own "abstract" fumblings around this state in my last post (and it makes me happy and truly thankful you include me, not forsaken a wizened soul ha) but here you re-purpose that "idea" with so much more seductive poetic "expressive" language.....the first paragraph about silence and patient with-holding and then release resonates, skirts the subconscious and mines it for even Freudian? content....hmmmmmm xo
